    Kindred Hospital Dayton has now moved to a new freestanding 67-bed transitional care hospital at 707 South Edwin C. Moses Blvd.

    New Building


    The new 132,000 square foot hospital offers:

    • all private rooms
    • an expanded ICU of 12 beds
    • 8 bariatric rooms with two of those housed in the ICU
    • an in-house moderate complexity laboratory
    • an expanded radiology department with CT Scanner
    • three operating suites
    • an expanded rehabilitation department
    • one large gym and two satellites
    • public and private wireless capacity
    • full-service inpatient and guest cafeteria
    • a coffee bar in the front lobby

    The new freestanding building allows Kindred Hospital Dayton more medical capability to provide more long-term acute care to more patients.

    "This move will mean Kindred Hospital Dayton can meet the needs of more patients in an environment conducive to healing and wellness for both the patient and the families," said Lynn Schoen, Chief Executive Officer of Kindred Hospital Dayton. “The healthcare community, including the providers and the physicians, have been very supportive of the relocation and are excited about the expansion of our services. We are looking forward to the rebirth of Kindred Hospital Dayton.”
